Terrific! I think you all are convincing me. The problem is, I'm overthinking things. I keep thinking... "I don't know if I like how the 'in' is done!" Honestly, if I gave into my emotions, I'd be e-mailing the publisher every five minutes with new "suggestions." I'll become one of "those" authors!! ;)
After careful consideration, I've changed my mind from #1 to #3. The overal composition, colours and font come out better here than in #1, where everything was veiled. At first glance I found that the veil/rune pattern added mystery, but now that I see #3, it really doesn't need that to make it intriguing. Very much looking forward to reading your book!
Thanks, Krista. I like this one as well. I suppose all of them have their points and they all could be better, but I'm happy with it...and for ME, that's something! I'm rarely happy with anything :)
Much better! :)
ReplyDeleteI think so too! Thanks, KE!
DeleteDefinitely #3
ReplyDeleteIt flows better...the hallway goes on further...it gives you that illusion that it does. The 2nd cover has tunnel vision, heh:)
The 3rd cover is 'Much better!'

Option #3 is much better.
DeleteThanks Brenda!! I think so as well. I think that's what I'll go with!
DeleteThank you so much for your help!
I agree! #3 is definitely the much better option. If I came across this in the book store, I'd buy it immediately.
ReplyDeleteGood, Bookwormsfancy! I'll put you down for fifty copies!
DeleteThanks for the feedback and the reassurance. Hopefully other readers will feel the same way:)

ReplyDeleteYes, I like this one best as well. It tempts me (and as someone who doesn't like fantasy novels on the whole that takes some doing).
ReplyDeleteWell, that's exactly what I want to hear. Thanks! If it tempts you to buy it, maybe a couple dozen others will as well!
DeleteI'm definitely buying a copy! :)
ReplyDeleteUgh! But what if it sucks???? Now I'm getting worried. Still, at least it has a good cover!
DeleteThanks Paulina. I really appreciate the support. Thank you very much.

DeleteThis is a nice cover! I like the colors and design. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Lena. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :)
